Governing Body
The governors of Loseley Fields Primary
School are responsible for Loseley Fields Children’s

The governors have appointed a committee
which has delegated authority to run the centre. The members of
the Children's Centre Committee and their responsibilities are
listed below.
Gill Cory
Gill is a Parent Governor of Loseley Fields
Primary School and currently holds the position of Chairperson
of Loseley Fields Children’s Centre Governors.
Simon Shimmin
Simon is a Community Governor and currently
holds the position of Chair of Governors at Loseley Fields
Primary School and has been a member of the Children’s
Centre committee since April 2007. Simon holds a senior
executive position in a multi national company.
Chris Nourse
Chris, headteacher of Loseley Fields
Primary School, worked with the Governors to put forward the
bid and business plan to Surrey County Council which was
responsible for the successful foundation of Loseley Fields
Children’s Centre.
Zara Lowe
Zarah is a Local Authority Governor and
also has children at Loseley Fields Primary School. She is part
of the Children’s Centre and Learning and Teaching
committee and has Governor Responsibility for Food at the
school. In addition to her role as a school Governor,
Zarah’s work focuses on supporting the 14-19 agenda in
education.
