Mobile Children’s Centre
Sure Start Children's Centre Buses
Two new buses will soon be making regular
visits to villages in the south of Surrey as part of the
continuing programme to make Sure Start Children’s
Centres available to all.
The South West bus will visit the following
areas:
• Godalming Central and
Busbridge
• Tillingbourne (Chilworth)
• Pilgrims and Tongham
• Worplesdon
• Cranleigh
• Frensham and Elstead
• Chiddingfold and Dunsfold
• Clandon and Horsley
• Haslemere and Hindhead
Each area is likely to get a visit once a
fortnight and these will initially be centred around existing
services or facilities in the area. The children's centre
coordinator for each area will be on board and will carry a
wide range of information.
We aim to provide access to services
including:
• Child and family health
• Family and parental outreach
• Access to wider services
• Support and information for
parents wanting to return to work,
• Education or training
• Families Information Service.
